DESCRIPTION > Giuanninu was a poor man. He didn't have a house; only a oven where he used to bake the bread for the whole village. After locking a fox that was stealing focaccia bread, into the hot oven, he freed her in return for the king's daughter's hand in marriage. Thanks to his cunning, the fox managed to transform the baker into the most powerful and beloved man of the kingdom, before asking him the last favour: bake his head in the oven to be able to regain his true form. In fact, he was a prince who was punished for committing a serious sin.
WHERE HE CAN BE FOUND > In the lands he inherited as prince and that he governs with great wisdom, or in the “malnato malnato Orge's” castle: someone says it is the biggest and most beautiful of the kingdom, but do not tell it to the old king, he might get upset!
PREFERENZE > Giuanninu thinks that sleeping inside the oven drives away the nightmares. Moreover, according to the fox, it is also a nice remedy for aches and pains.
HOW TO RECOGNISE HIM > All princes are generous and honest, but only one is also the best baker in the kingdom. HOW TO BEHAVE WITH HIM > If you happen to meet him, do not feel uncomfortable: even if a small fox transformed him
into a prince, he prefers to talk about sourdough rather than palace gossip.
